Invicta Marine Ltd. was started in 1996 by Robert Beadell to provide a specialized consulting service for the marine industry. Their client list includes Washington State Ferries, SMIT Marine Inc. and the Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans. Invicta Marine Ltd. has also developed an “equivalent” Safety Management System for small passenger vessels, on behalf of Transport Canada. They are the west coast representatives for QSU, a European based ISM and ISO Safety/Quality management system auditing and training company. In this capacity they carry out audits and conduct training on behalf of various international ship owners. Robert Beadell is a Marine Engineer with a First Class certificate and excellent management skills. He is experienced in project management, ship construction, refits and conversions. Mr. Beadell comes with a depth of experience prior to establishing Invicta Marine Ltd., Bob invested his commitment and time into firms such as Zetek Power Plc., British Columbia Ferry Corporation, Royal Sealink Express, and is a graduate of the University of Plymouth School of Maritime Studies UK, City of London Polytechnic, and Southampton University UK.
